Try new activities and choose friends who support you. Most importantly, be yourself and give things time—you’ll settle in before you know it.

Your classwork will be hands‑on, practical and full of opportunities to create amazing work that you’ll be proud of. We’ll encourage you to take risks, try new things and express yourself confidently. By September, you’ll be stepping into a learning environment where creativity is at the heart of everything you do.

What advice would you give to Year 6 students joining us?
Starting Year 7 is an exciting new chapter, and a few good habits will help you settle in quickly. Make sure you always meet your deadlines so you can keep up with your learning and stay organised. Wearing full school uniform every day shows pride in yourself and our school community. Bring a good school bag that can carry your device, books, and equipment safely. Most importantly, try to stay engaged in your lessons — listen carefully, take part, ask questions and give every task your best effort. These small steps will help you start the year confidently and successfully.
